My thoughts and prayers are with Eric's family on this day of his memorial. For the past 10 years him and I have leaned on each other in good times and bad. I wouldn't be in the happy place I am now in my life had I not met him. He was a wonderful person with a heart of gold. He will certainly be missed at our Hog Roast every June here in Kansas. He made many new friends every year that he came and he got to do many 'firsts' such as riding dirt roads in a pick up truck and shooting all sorts of guns, including the black powder gun of my Dads, which was Eric's favorite. He called us his 'redneck crew'. I'm happy for the times we got to spend together and he will never be forgotten. He will forever be our 'Canadian Buddy'. God Bless, Elicia
